As engagement season fast approaches and we get excited about all the couples that we will meet in 2020 we look back at one of our favourite proposals of the year.
Working in cahoots with a London venue, our client Luke had arranged for an invite to be sent to his significant other, Harriet, for a private tasting, where unbeknown to her there would be a beautiful setting and backdrop for him to pop the question.
When Luke informed us of his plan and his vision to create a romantic, dramatic installation for a surprise proposal to remember we couldn’t wait to create something fabulous for the special occasion. Wanting to push the design limits beyond a table centre, we cascaded fresh scented florals and wild foliages in an organic styling, allowing the couple to dine amidst the flowers.
To set the mood we used a rich flower palette of jewel toned roses and peonies softened with scented jasmine and English foliages. Candlelight reflected in the colourful glass votives offering a warm amber glow for a soft and romantic setting for the proposal.
Of course... she said yes..... a huge congratulations to Luke & Harriet!
